When we’re stressed out we come here to ease it all off in sumptuous, Arabic style luxury. Soak in hot pools, ice-cold pools, saltwater pools and cathedral view with a rooftop pools. Satisfied? Not yet? How about huge Jacuzzi rooms, steam rooms and an oh too tempting selection of massages rubs, scrubs and treatments? YEAH. Now we’re talking. THIS IS THE GOOD LIFE. And it doesn’t get any better. Believe us.

After Dinner, Live Music, Seville,

Museo del Baile Flamenco

Don’t believe what anyone else tells you. This is the best place in Seville to see live flamenco. Yes it’s for tourists, but the level, consistency and quality of the artists that play here is unbeatable. If you have never seen flamenco, first and foremost we order you to come here and see for yourself. Your soul requires it. Then, and only then, may you go hunting for flamenco out on the back streets. Olé.

After Dinner, Dancing, Seville,

Utopia

Utopia discoteca keeps people’s feet moving, bodies spinning and slow jams grinding til the wee hours. Music ranges from reggaeton, to latino, cumbia, merengue or salsa. General dress code is smart. The building inside is a beautifully designed 3 floor club with options for all peoples.

After Dinner, Dancing, Seville,

Sala X

Sala X is an urban underground concert hall with a decent plethora of live artists and DJ’s. It’s sufficient to keep us returning regularly to feed our ears and wiggle our feet, whether it’s Balkan beats, live blues or some late night house. Highly recommended if you want a proper night out.

After Dinner, Dancing, Seville,

Bilindo

Bilindo is an outdoors club, open late night and full of good looking, well dressed people. It is ,to be frank, on the pretentious side of fun; within the framework of social rules and etiquette that a true La Banda beast can’t be tamed by. However, if it is hot and you are in a group of mates, it is one of the considerably better options in Seville, which is why it managed to squeeze it’s way on to our exclusive and highly rated list of city selections.

After Dinner, Bars, Seville,

Second Room

We really like to come here for intimate social cocktails in small groups or with one of our lovers. You can pull up a nice corner seat and really test the barman’s skills out because he knows what he’s doing when it comes to mixology – a talent seldom found in so many places that claim they “do” cocktails.

Food and Drink, Modern, Seville,

El Pinton

El Pinton aka Mr Paint. These guys have a shmorgeous board of wonders for your mouth. Start by getting stuck in to the cocktail menu and once you’re suitably sloshed, roll your way on to the a la carte tapas. We like the ceviche and we think they are kings of arroz. If nothing more the interior design is airy, fresh and mega trendy so it’s a great place to come and relax while you whittle down that travel fund.

Food and Drink, Modern, Seville,

Homu

A trendy sushi place with nice outdoor terrace in a cracking location. The sushi isn’t groundbreaking but it certainly hits the spot. Truth be told though, we always come for the yaki udon noodles coz we’re suckers for those big old wormy worm style noods layered with goodies. Also whatever you do don’t miss the gyozas – some damn tasty shizzle.

Food and Drink, Gourmet, Seville,

Eslava

The truth is that every time we come here we get so involved with the wonderful menu of wines, and stock up so heavily on the tasty array of tapas, that by the time we’ve arisen from the hazy food coma later that evening, we can’t really remember anything about the place. That’s gotta be a good sign!

Food and Drink, Modern, Seville,

Mamarracha

Mamaracha is a La Banda fave. An all round delicious menu keeps us coming back and begging for more. Maybe it’s those paparracha creamy potatoes, maybe it’s that fine grilled steak, or the cheeky cheese cake that we definitely didn’t need…… whatever it is, Mamarracha you impress us! Trendy, classy, modern and great for small groups or couples. P.s. Love that plant wall.

Food and Drink, Modern, Seville,

Ovejas Negras

Ovejas Negras is a slice of Argentian concept-dining in the heart of Seville. Minimalist, artsy décor with high ceilings and vintage light bulbs set the scene. An addictive menu of goodies with a gourmet edge keeps your taste buds tingling. Vibes are slick, modern and trendy. You could as easily prop the bar up whilst you share a bottle of wine as you could settle in for evening of fine dining with your lover.

Food and Drink, Seville, Traditional,

Gastro-market Lonja del Barranco

The “Mercado” is a wonderful way to dip your toe in to the world of Spanish tapas. Row’s of bright market stalls jovially offer up all the seafood, croquetas and jamon that you could possible dream of. Never ending beer and wine flows as standard. Out front an open air, gin & tonic bar pumps out music, and Seville’s local crowd gathers to make sure they get seen by the right people.
